Anyone looking to hire a P.I in the state of Virginia should consult the Virginia Dept of Criminal Justice website. A list of licensed and insured companies are listed there.

Yes. No one can under estimate the job of a private investigator for they are always doing their best and never stop to know the truth. They are professionals who do things carefully at the quickest possible time.
Before you hire any service, make sure that you only deal with licensed and experts. Hiring a private investigator is not a joke, it's a serious business.

Good article!
I think one of the primary reasons for hiring a private investigator is if they specialize in the subject that you wish to investigate. If your issue is concerning criminal investigations then hire a private investigator that specializes in that specific area. If you need help with family law issues then hire a private investigator who specializes in that area. Lastly, I think a lot has to do with the investigator's personality – is the investigator and the client a good match on a personal level.
